This place is absolutely amazing! The cottage is like a dream come true - it's so well equipped and clean, with the most stunning decor. And guess what? It's in a small village, but not isolated at all! There are takeaways and pubs within walking distance, and the walks around the area are just breathtaking. Plus, you can easily explore the Dales National Park nearby. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, always making sure you have everything you need. And even though the TV remote disappeared, they made sure we could still enjoy Netflix. The cottage has all the comforts you could ask for, including a fantastic shower and a fully stocked kitchen. It's also great that Cowling is accessible by bus if you don't have a car. this place exceeded all our expectations and we can't wait to come back!

The shower was excellent and the cottage was clean and newly decorated. The location in the small village of Cowling was great, with Skipton, Ilkley, and Bolton Abbey all within a short drive. The local pub, The Bay Horse, was a pleasant 15-minute walk away, and I enjoyed their good, cheap pub food. I also tried the food at The Dog & Gun, a 10-minute drive away, and it was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return!

Drawbacks: Although my stay was amazing, I did notice a few minor drawbacks. A cafetiere would have been a nice touch, but since I brought my own, it didn't matter.

The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric kettle and all necessary cookware and utensils. The flat-screen TV and free wi-fi made it even better. The location was amazing, with beautiful hiking trails right at our doorstep. We enjoyed the outdoor dining area and the off-site car park was convenient.
